Updates on Matthew...

I wanted to get some photos of Matthew when he was at least 6 months old just so I could have the newborn photos and then the 1/2 year old photos along with the 1 year old photos to show how he has changed. In these photos he is 7 months old. So luckily I finally was able to go outside last Thursday with that beautiful weather and snap some shots of our little guy. It was a lot different taking photos of him this time because he is now sitting up with still some support, rolling over while on his stomach and his head constantly moving back and forth as the cars/trucks go by our house.

He loves being outside. He gets so excited every time we go out and loves to look around everywhere he possibly can look. He loves going outside to watch our dogs Lady and Buddy chase each other around outside. He will start rocking in my arms as he watches the dogs below my feet. He smiles really big and sometimes will vocalize as they chase each other around the yard. We are so excited that he already loves them. Lady always comes up to Matthew while he is sitting on our lap and will smell him. This is his big size duck that he now loves to bath in. We will put his Momma Duck and Baby Duck in the water and he will immediately start splashing and try so hard to catch them with his hands. He doesn't even cry to get out anymore. Tonight we blew bubbles in the bathtub and he started to get really excited about them. I would say pop as I would pop the bubbles in the air and then he would giggle. It was so much fun playing with him. I love giving him baths. He is so relaxed in the bathtub and usually falls fast asleep right after his bath. What a sweetie! So Mike came home the other day from work with a surprise for Matthew. He had brought home a blue ball for him to play with. Sadly, he was still sleeping so we quietly anticipated his waking up. Luckily soon after Mike came home Matthew woke up and we got him out of his crib and brought him into the living room to sit on the floor. Mike pulled out the blue ball from behind his back and gave it to him. He was so happy and loved it. He immediately attacked it and tried eating it. He would grunt loudly as he would try to put the whole ball in his mouth. It was so much fun to see him get so excited over it. Then he found the printed tag on the ball and would touched it repeatedly and vocalize a ton while touching it. He would wave his arms in the air as we played catch with him.Thanks Daddy for thinking of our little guy.
Matthew loves playing with his feet a lot lately but he especially loves watching our toes or feet wiggle up and down. He eyes will get big and wide. Then he will sometimes start vocalizing or kick and wave his arms really fast.
